I didn't start out shooting weddings. I started out shooting models.

I picked up a camera at 28, almost by accident — a photo of a friend who modeled turned into a full-time career photographing for Elite Models, Wilhelmina Miami, and agencies across Miami for the better part of a decade. I've worked with celebrities, shot campaigns that took me from Hawaii to Spain to Cuba, and spent years learning how to make people who are used to being photographed — and people who aren't — look and feel like the best version of themselves in front of a lens.

That's the thing nobody tells you about wedding photography: it's not really about the venue or the light (though I care about both, a lot). It's about making two people, surrounded by everyone they love, feel comfortable enough to actually be themselves for a camera pointed at them all day. I've spent ten years getting people relaxed and confident in front of a lens — models on set, couples on a beach, whoever's in front of me. Your wedding day is no different, just with better stakes and better speeches.

I'm based in Denver now, Miami-raised, and I bring the same instinct to every shoot — make sure everyone's having a good time and nobody feels left out.
